Corrections Policy
How odyc corrects mistakes in its reporting.
We work to make every report accurate. When we get something wrong, we correct it in the open.
How we correct
- Factual errors such as names, dates, figures or quotes are fixed as soon as possible. A correction note at the end of the article says what changed and when.
- Minor errors such as spelling or grammar are fixed without a note.
- Updates when a story develops are marked with an "Updated" date at the top of the article.
We don't delete articles to hide mistakes. If an article has to be withdrawn, we will say why.
