Government aims to register 26,000 refugees by end-2027, DPP only for those who arrived before March 2023
The Home Ministry wants to register 6,000 refugees this year and 20,000 next year under the Refugee Registration Document. Those who entered Malaysia after March 2023 do not qualify.
